ff 7 8

How do you get Fanal Fantasy 7&8 to run???????????

FF7 will probably be a real effort seeing as I never could get it to run under either 98SE or XP without having a very specific hardware configuration. Game really is very limited in what it will properly use. I actually burned an image of the install folder to insure I could install again as seem to remember it was trial and error with updates etc. before it would work.
FF8 was never any problem but haven't tried it under Vista.

Both FF7 & 8 installed perfectly under my Dell XPS from 6 years ago! I was using win98se tho, haven't installed any on Vista yet.

i also could not get ff7 running under winxp, was getting graphics problems and crashes to desktop no matter what i tried on my hardware... based on this and other posts about game incompatibility, good luck..
as far as ff8 goes, once i get my vista box back up and running ill give it a whirl... what did you already try if anything to get it going?

They both work under XP. I try to run them in vista under Xp,98,and 95 no luck. I have try DirectX with them no luck so far. Baldur"s Gate run for a little bit then no luck here. I"m waiting on RC1 to see what it will do
